Chocolate Eclair image

I had this dish several years ago and tweaked it to make it a tad richer with the cream cheese and condensed milk. You will want to have recipe cards on hand when you serve this!!

8 oz cream cheese
1 can(s) sweetened condensed milk
1 box (large box) instant vanilla pudding
12 oz whipped topping, thawed
1 box honey graham crackers
1 can(s) prepared milk chocolate frosting
1 1/3 c milk

Steps:

  • 1. Prepare pudding according to the directions on the box, reducing milk to 1 1/3 cups. Set in refrigerator while doing the next step. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the cream cheese and condensed milk until smooth. Add the pudding and mix well. Fold in cool whip.
  • 2. Line the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan with a single layer of graham crackers. Spoon 1/3 pudding mixture over cookies and spread to edges. Repeat layering process - ending with the cookies on top. Microwave frosting for about 1 minute or until it reaches a "pourable" consistency. Pour over the cookies spooning the frosting to the edges. Refrigerate several hours before serving to allow cookies to soften.
