CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES, DELUXE image

Yield 48 cookies

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 3/4 cups flour
1 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups (3 sticks)butter, softened
1 1/2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 24-ounce pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside. Combine butter and brown sugar; beat until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until light and fluffy. Gradually blend in flour mix. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans. Drop by spoon onto ungeased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Allow to stand 2-3 minutes before removing from cookie sheets; let cool.
