Chocolate Chess Pie image

The very best pie you have ever tasted :)

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 stick margarine
2 oz unsweetened chocolate (squares)
1 c granulated sugar
1 pinch salt
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 frozen pie crust (regular)

Steps:

  • 1. Melt margarine and unsweetened chocolate in a medium saucepan on medium heat
  • 2. Once melted and incorporated, add sugar, salt, and vanilla and mix well
  • 3. Add eggs and mix well
  • 4. Pour into pie crust and bake for 25-35 minutes at 325 degrees
  • 5. *I frequently double this recipe and use a deep-dish pie crust, it is wonderful! Serve with vanilla ice cream!
