CHIPOTLE CREAM SAUCE image

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 cups heavy cream
1/2 of a large onion, roughly chopped
10 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
4 TBS chipotle pepper in adobo, finely minced, plus 1 TBS adobo sauce
Salt to taste

Steps:

  • Put all ingredients into a medium saucepan and steep over VERY LOW heat for 40 minutes. Do not let it rise to a simmer or boil. Pure in a blender. Return to heat for 10 more minutes. The sauce should stick to the back of a spoon when done.
