CHINESE NOODLES WITH BROWN SAUCE image

Number Of Ingredients 10

1/2-3/4 pound ground pork
1 cup scallions, minced
1 Tbsp ginger, peeled and minced
1 Tbsp garlic, minced
1 cup chicken stock
1 Tbsp ground bean sauce
2 Tbsp hoisin sauce
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 package soba noodles
1 Tbsp toasted sesame oil

Steps:

  • 1. Put water on for pasta. 2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the pork. Add 1/2 cup scallions, ginger and garlic and stir until fragrant. Add the stock, bean sauce, hoisin and soy sauce. Cook, stirring occasionally, until thick, about 5 minutes. Reduce heat and keep warm. 3. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and dress with the sauce. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with the remaining 1/2 cup scallions and sesame oil.
