Number Of Ingredients 8

1 stick butter
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tbs p. baking powder
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup chopped dates

Steps:

  • Melt butter and add sugar, mix until dissolved. Cool 2 minutes.
  • Add eggs, mix well. Add flour, baking powder and vanilla. Mix well. Fold in nuts and dates.
  • Pour into 8 or 9 inch square baking pan. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees F.
