This is a meatless sauce recipe that can be used in numerous ways. It's made with leftover beef stock from cooking a roast in the crockpot.

Steps:
- 1. In a large pot add 8 c. of beef stock, all ingredients except masa. Simmer for 20 min. Taste, adjust any seasonings as needed.
- 2. TO THICKEN: In a small bowl place 1 1/2 c. of chili sauce, add 1/2 c. masa, mix well to dissolve any clumps, add back to sauce. Simmer for a few till thickened, repeat this step if thicker chili sauce is desired.
