Julie's recipe should be a staple on any busy mom's menu. It's simple and easy to throw together. The whole crew loved this dish. The seasoning packet adds all the flavor you'd expect from a chili but you don't have to grab multiple spice jars. It seriously doesn't get easier than this recipe. Number Of Ingredients 7

2 lb ground beef
1 large box of medium shells
1 jar(s) of your favorite spaghetti sauce; 24 oz.
1 pkg of Chili-o-seasoning
1 small onion
Parmesan cheese for garnish, optional
1 loaf of your favorite garlic bread (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. Finely chop onion. Set aside.
  • 2. In a large Dutch oven, brown hamburger and onion until hamburger is no longer pink and the onion is translucent. Drain off excess fat. Return to pot.
  • 3. Add spaghetti sauce.
  • 4. Add the Chili-o-seasoning. Stir.
  • 5. In another large pot boil the shells until al dente.
  • 6. Drain.
  • 7. Combine meat mixture with shells and stir carefully as to not tear the shells.
  • 8. Garnish with Parmesan cheese. Enjoy.
