CHILI-CHEESE MASHED POTATOES image

2-3/4 cups water
1 cup milk
1-1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
3 cups instant mashed potato flakes
2 (4 oz. ea.) cans chopped green chilies
1 cup (4 oz.) shredded Mexican cheese blend

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, bring the water, milk and salt to a boil. Add the butter, garlic, potato flakes and chilies; stir until thickened. Sprinkle with cheese.
