CHICKEN TANGIER image

2 Tbsp oregano
2 tsp seasoned salt
2 tsp minced garlic
1/4 tsp black pepper
3 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1/2 C dry white wine
2 Tbsp olive oli
1 C pitted prunes
1/2 C pitted green olives
1/4 C raisins
2 Tbsp capers
cooked rice
chopped chilantro

Steps:

  • 1. Stir oregano, slat, garlic, and pepper in a small bowl. Rub evenly over chicken. 2. Coat inside of crock-pot with nonstick cooking spray. Arrange chicken with lemon slices between pieces. Pour wine over chicken; spinkle with oil. Add prunes, olives, raisins and capers. Cover; cook on LOW 7 to 8 hours or on HIGH 4 to 5 hours. Serve over rice/couscous, if desired. Garnish with parsley or cilantro.
