Chicken n' biscuits image

Wednesday I lost track of time and had only 30 minutes before I had to leave to go to church. I threw this together.I had canned chicken, frozen vegetables and frozen biscuits.I made a fast potpie! Mmm.

Number Of Ingredients 6

6 frozen biscuits
1 can(s) (49-1/2oz) chicken broth divided
1 1/2 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts,cubed
1 bag frozen mixed vegetables
1 c all-purpose flour
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Bake biscuits as package says.Meanwhile in a saucepan combine 4 cups broth,chicken and vegetables.Bring to a boil and reduce heat;cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • 2. In a bowl mix flour and remaining broth until smooth.When your 10 minutes are over stir into chicken mixture.Heat until thickened.
  • 3. Cut open biscuit. Spoon chicken mixture on to bottom piece.top with other half of biscuit.
