Steps:
- 1. Prepare macaroni as directed; drain & keep warm. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add green pepper and celery. Cook until tender, about 20-25 minutes.
- 2. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until blended. Gradually stir in milk; cook, stirring constantly until sauce is slightly thickened.
- 3. Stir in chicken and cheese just until cheese is melted. Remove from heat. Stir in the macaroni and serve.
