Chicken Fettuccine Primavera image

This Chicken Primavera with chicken, vegetables and creamy sauce makes for one hearty meal. Serve tossed with linguine or fettuccine.

Number Of Ingredients 12

1/4 cup(s) chopped onion
1 clove(s) garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon(s) olive oil
1 tablespoon(s) cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
1/8 teaspoon(s) pepper
1 1/4 cup(s) canned chicken broth
1 medium carrot, cut into thin bite-size strips
1 package(s) (8 oz.) frozen broccoli, red bell pepper, onions and mushrooms mix
1 can(s) (10 oz.) chunk white chicken, drained, cut into chunks
6 ounce(s) barilla fettuccine, cooked and drained
4 teaspoon(s) grated parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Saute onions and garlic in oil until tender.
  • Mix together cornstarch, salt, pepper and broth. Stir into onion mixture. Bring to boil, stirring constantly until thickened. Add vegetables and chicken. Cover and simmer 5 minutes, until hot. Spoon over cooked pasta. Sprinkle with cheese.
