Chicken Casserole image

My friend Pat used to make this for us all the time when our kids were little. Now I am making for other not so little anymore kids.

Number Of Ingredients 6

4 chicken breasts, boiled with 1/4 stick butter
8 oz pepperidge farm herb seasoned stuffing mix
1 can(s) cream of celery soup
1 can(s) cream of chicken soup
1 egg
1 stick butter

Steps:

  • 1. Mix stuffing mix with butter (melted) and egg.
  • 2. Mix celery soup with 3/4 cup of broth used to cook chicken. Do same with chicken soup.
  • 3. Place in casserole 1 layer of stuffing, 1 layer chicken, celery soup mix, 1 layer stuffing, 1 layer chicken, cream chicken soup mix, and remainder of stuffing.
  • 4. Bake at 325-degrees for 1 hour.
