Chicken Braised in Red Wine image

Number Of Ingredients 8

16 ounce chicken breast
3 clove Garlic
2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
2 piece Bay Leaves
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon vegetable Oil
25 ounce red wine
1 piece zest of a lemon

Steps:

  • Mince the garlic and zest the lemon.
  • In a pan, heat oil and saute the garlic and chicken for 3 minutes.
  • Add the soy sauce, black pepper, and bay leaf.
  • Add the wine, bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer for 40 minutes.
  • Once the meat is tender, season with salt and add some lemon zest.
