Chewy Brownie Cookies image

Chocolate lovers unite ! Ultimate chocolate cookies. Again as with many of my cookie recipes, I made these for Christmas plates I give. I look and look for a new cookie recipe to make every year!

Number Of Ingredients 11

2/3 c crisco
1 1/2 c brown sugar
1 Tbsp water
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 1/2 c flour
1/3 c unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
2 c chocolate chips
1/2 c or more of walnuts i use, not part of original ingred.

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 375 degrees Combine Crisco, sugar, water and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed til blended.
  • 2. At low speed beat in eggs, add flour, cocoa, salt and Baking soda. Stir in choc. chips and drop by Tablespoons onto un-greased cookie sheet. Bake 7-9 min. (should be moist looking) Makes 3 dozen
