ALL CREDIT GOES TO 'CHERRY BARRANCO' Three judges ate their way through eight delectable crab cake recipes to determine the winner of the Coast Day Crab Cake Cookoff, an annual event at the College of Marine Studies and Sea Grant Program open...

Number Of Ingredients 13

2 lb crab meat
2 eggs
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 c mayonnaise
1/3 c mustard
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 green pepper, finely chopped
1 c crushed saltine crackers
1 tsp tabasco
2 tsp worchestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp old bay seasoning
1 oz parsley
dash of garlic powder

Steps:

  • 1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, mixing well. Form into crab cakes and refrigerate to form all ingredients. Broil in oven or fry in olive oil until golden brown. Serve with fresh salsa or favorite condiments.
