Number Of Ingredients 9

1/2 pound large or medium shells pasta
1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, diced
1 packet taco seasoning
1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup water (or beef broth)
1 cup jarred salsa
1 tsp olive oil
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Instructions Step 1: According to the package direction, cook the shelled pasta. Drain and set aside. Step 2: Add the ground beef, oil, and diced onion in a skillet. Cook over medium heat, chop, and stir the beef until completely browned. Step 3: Drain any excess grease before adding in the taco seasoning. Pour in 3/4 cup water or beef broth and stir until the liquid is completely gone. Step 4: Add the pasta in the skillet. Stir until completely combined with the salsa, cheese, and cream cheese. Cook until heated through. Step 5: Remove from the heat and top with sour cream if wanted. Step 6: Serve and enjoy!
