Cheesy Ground Beef & Mushroom Potato Fries image

Start with frozen French fried potatoes-and end with baked fries covered with a cheesy sauce made with sautéed ground beef, onions and mushrooms.

4 cups ORE-IDA GOLDEN FRIES
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 pkg. (8 oz.) sliced fresh mushrooms
1 jar (24 oz.) CLASSICO Tomato and Basil Pasta Sauce
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Low-Moisture Part-Skim Mozzarella Cheese

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 425ºF.
  • Cook fries as directed on package.
  • Meanwhile, brown meat with onions in large skillet; drain. Add mushrooms; cook 4 to 5 min. or until tender. Stir in sauce; cook 3 to 4 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
  • Transfer fries to baking dish; top with meat sauce and cheese. Bake 2 min. or until cheese is melted.
