Cheeseburger Pie image

1-1/2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1 can (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes, drained
1/4 cup HEINZ Tomato Ketchup
1 Tbsp. HEINZ Yellow Mustard
1-1/2 cups KRAFT Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese, divided
2 Tbsp. butter
1 egg
6 CLAUSSEN Kosher Dill Sandwich Slices

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350ºF.
  • Cook macaroni as directed on package, omitting salt. Meanwhile, brown meat with onions in large nonstick skillet; drain. Stir in tomatoes, ketchup, mustard and 1/2 cup cheese.
  • Drain macaroni; place in large bowl. Add butter; toss until melted and macaroni is evenly coated. Stir in egg and 1/2 cup of the remaining cheese. Press onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Spread meat mixture over macaroni mixture, leaving 1-inch border around edge; sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  • Bake 25 min. or until heated through. Top with pickles.
