CHEESEBURGER CHOWDER image

Number Of Ingredients 13

1 lb. hamberger
1 med. onion (chopped)
2 stalks celery (chopped)
2 carrots (chopped)
3 medium potatoes (chopped)
1 can corn (drained)
2-3 tsp on salt seasoning
2-3 tsp. salt
3 cups water
3 cups scalded milk
1 pt. light cream
1/4 cup butter
1 cup American Cheese (sharp) plus a bit more (cubed)

Steps:

  • Brown hamberger and drain -Add onion, celery,carrots,potatoes and saute for 5-10 minutes -Add corn and saute for 5 more minutes - add water and cook vege's till done - Add scalded milk, cream, butter, and cheese - Simmer 15 minutes - Do Not Boil or it will curdle
