CHEESE SAUCE FOR VEGGIES image

Yield 1 1/2 cups

Number Of Ingredients 6

1.5 Tbl butter
1 Tbl cornstarch
1 Cup milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4-1/2 tsp prepared mustard
1 Cup grated cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Melt butter in small saucepan. Blend in cornstarch, salt, and mustard until smooth. Add milk and stir constantly until thickened. Remove from heat, and beat in cheese until melted. Pour over steamed veggies.
