Chardonnay, Mustard & Honey Salad Dressing image

It's actually, "Chardonnay, Whole Grain Mustard & Honey Salad Dressing with Poppy Seeds", but I guess the title was too long! But whip this up, and you won't have to wait long for an incredibly delicious, homemade salad dressing, that tastes like a fine dining restaurant! EASY and uses simple ingredients! Number Of Ingredients 12

1 cup(s) mayonnaise
1/3 cup(s) coarse chopped onion
2 tablespoon(s) sugar
1/2 tablespoon(s) dark brown sugar
2 tablespoon(s) orange blossom honey (please use real honey)
2 tablespoon(s) plus 1 teaspoon whole grain dijon mustard, (i used maille's old style)
1 tablespoon(s) apple cider vinegar
1/2 tablespoon(s) chardonnay
1/8 teaspoon(s) dried marjoram
1/8 teaspoon(s) coarse ground black pepper
2 tablespoon(s) extra virgin olive oil
2 teaspoon(s) poppy seeds

Steps:

  • Add ingredients into a blender except oil and poppy seeds. Place on lid and blend until smooth.
  • Remove center of lid, add the poppy seeds, and with blender on, slowly stream in oil.
  • Place into airtight container or glass jar and chill.
  • Store refrigerated. (Can sit out a little while before serving for best consistency and flavor).
