CAULIFLOWER WITH CHEESE SAUCE image

Number Of Ingredients 10

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. flour
5 c. milk*
cream*
extra butter
salt and pepper
mustard, nutmeg/ pesto/ thyme
Use high-fat milk if not adding cream.
1 head of cauliflower
250g. strong cheddar cheese, grated

Steps:

  • Bechamel sauce: Nuke the milk. Prepare roux and add milk in a steady stream. Season and add cream and butter to taste, as well as milk to desired consitency. Dish: Boil cauliflower until cooked but crunchy. Add to sauce with cheese and mix well. Taste and season again.
