~ Cassie's Summer Strawberry Delight ~ image

Another light and delicious treat for summer, without heating up your house. My family just loves this salad. I hope you try it and love it just as much. Enjoy!

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 small package dream whip
1/2 tsp coconut extract - can use vanilla
1/2 c cold milk
1 c fresh sliced strawberries
1 - 15 oz can, crushed pineapple, drained very well
1/2 c chopped walnuts
1/4 c flaked coconut
3 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 c sugar
extra strawberries for garnishing

Steps:

  • 1. Prepare your dream whip, mix milk and extract until fluffy and peaks form, refrigerate to keep cold. In the meantime, beat cream cheese and sugar until fluffy and smooth. Stir in the nuts, pineapple and coconut. Next fold in the dream whip and strawberries.
  • 2. Can pour into a pretty bowl and garnish with extra strawberries. Keep refrigerated. Delish!
