These bars have a cakelike crust and chewy caramel and salty cashew topping. This recipe is a keeper!

Steps:
- 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour,sugars,baking powder and salt. Beat in the eggs just until combined. Fold in the cashews.
- 2. Spread into a 8inch square baking dish. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until top springs back when touched.
- 3. In a small bowl, mix the topping ingredients. Spread over cake. Broil for 1-2 minutes or until bubbly and a little brown. Cut into bars while the cake is warm. Cool completely.
