Steps:
- 1. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Peel the sweet potato and place in a baking dish.
- 2. Pour water and vanilla into the baking dish.
- 3. Now, add both sugars, cinnamon, and allspice.
- 4. Sprinkle butter over this.
- 5. Cover the baking pan tightly with aluminum foil. Bake for about 65 minutes.
- 6. Remove sweet potatoes from the oven.
- 7. Slice or mash the potatoes.
