Canadian Mojito image

By Alison Kent and The Canadian Living Test Kitchen. Rye and blueberries add a Canadian twist to this traditional Cuban cocktail. Garnish each glass with skewered blueberries and mint sprig. Canadian Living Magazine, July 2007.

6 mint leaves
6 blueberries
2 tablespoons lime juice
1/2 cup lemonade
1 1/2 ounces rye whiskey
soda water

Steps:

  • In cocktail shaker, combine mint leaves, blueberries and lime juice; muddle. Add lemonade and rye; top with ice cubes. Shake well. Strain into old-fashioned glass. Add splash of soda water.
