what if meatloaf and caesar are combine in this delicious recipe,so i created,it's good with a side of caesar salad

1 3/4 c shredded parmesan cheese,divided
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 red onion,sliced
3/4 c caesar vinaigrette dressing
1 lb lean ground beef
2 egg whites
1 c crushed salad croutons
2 tsp steak seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1 c creamy caesar dressing

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.Sprinkle with 3/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese.
  • 2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat,add sliced red onions and saute for 8 minutes or until are tender.Place into a medium bowl,add ceasar vinaigrette dressing;mix well and set aside.
  • 3. In a large bowl,combine ground beef,egg whites,crushed salad croutons,steak seasoning,garlic powder,sauteed sliced onions,creamy caesar dressing and remaining parmesan cheese;mix together until well combined.
  • 4. Transfer to a prepared loaf pan and cover with aluminum foil
  • 5. Bake for 40 minutes in the preheated oven.Remove the foil,continue baking for 15 minutes.
  • 6. Let stand for 5 minutes before slicing.
