Cabernet Sauce image

This sauce is great on any cut of beef. Rich and flavorful.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp flour
3/4 c cabernet sauvignon
1 1/2 c beef broth
1 pkg knorr's homestyle concentrated beef stock
1 c heavy cream
2 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp browning sauce like gravy master

Steps:

  • 1. Heat butter in skillet and add flour to make a roux and cook 1 minute.
  • 2. Add the cabernet, beef broth, and beef stock. Let simmer and reduce by half stirring occassionally
  • 3. Add heavy cream and butter whisking constantly. Stir in browning sauce. Serve over meat
