Cabbage Casserole image

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 can(s) small cabbage chopped
1 sweet onion
1 can(s) cream of chicken soup
1 c mayonnaise
1/2 stick butter melted
salt and pepper to taste
TOPPING
1 stalk(s) ritz crackers
one c cheese
1 stick butter melted

Steps:

  • 1. Place coarsely chopped cabbage in a casserole dish. No need to grease pan.
  • 2. Layer coarsely chopped onion on top of cabbage. Salt and pepper the onion and cabbage.
  • 3. Mix the soup, mayonnaise, and butter together and place on top of the onion/cabbage. Spread lightly. Don't mix.
  • 4. Mix the topping ingredients in a separate bowl and sprinkle over the top.
  • 5. Cook at 350 for about 45 minutes or until the top is golden and the casserole is bubbly. Keep an eye on it.
