BUTTERMILK PECAN PIE image

Number Of Ingredients 9

1/2 c butter
2 c sugar
2 t vanilla
3 eggs
3 T flour
1/4 t salt
1 c buttermilk
1 9" unbaked pie shell
1/2 c chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degs. Cream butter & sugar adding 1/2 c sugar at a time. Blend in vanilla. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Add flour and salt. Add buttermilk. Sprinkle pecans in bottom of pie crust, pour custard mix over the pecans and bake 1 1/2 hours or until firm. Best served at room temperature
