Butter Twists image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 c butter
2 c flour
1 egg yolk
3/4 c sour cream
TOPPING:
3/4 c sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 c nuts, chopped

Steps:

  • 1. Cream butter, add the flour.
  • 2. Combine with egg yolk & sour cream.
  • 3. Chill 3-4 hours or overnight.
  • 4. Divide into 3 parts. Roll each into circle, 1/8 inch thick. Cut each circle into 16 wedges.
  • 5. Combine sugar, cinnamon & nuts.
  • 6. Sprinkle on wedges & roll each up to center.
  • 7. Bake in 375 oven for 25-30 minutes.
  • 8. Makes about 48 twists.
