I love Buffalo chicken wraps. I get them at the Officer's Club here. This is my version!

Number Of Ingredients 14

1 lb chicken tenderloins
1/2 c milk
1/2 c flour
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp coarse ground black pepper
1/2 Tbsp hot sauce, such as tabasco, franks or louisana hot spot
1 c mild buffalo wing sauce ( i used a bottle of mild from buffalo wild wings)
2 Tbsp sweet bbq sauce
1/4 c vegetable oil
6-8 large flour tortillas
shredded lettuce
chopped tomato
shredded cheese
ranch dressing (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350. Clean the chicken tenderloins while you heat the oil in a frying pan. Pat the chicken dry and set aside.
  • 2. In a plastic bag, combine flour, pepper and garlic powder. In a medium bowl, combine milk and hot sauce. Dip chicken pieces in first the milk mixture and then in the flour. Shake the bag to coat the chicken. Fry on both sides until lightly golden brown.
  • 3. Mix together wing sauce and bbq sauce. Prepare a cookie sheet with aluminum foil (saves a mess later). Dip each chicken tender into the wing sauce mixture, coating both sides and place on cookie sheet.
  • 4. Bake for about 10 to 15 minutes, turning the chicken over halfway through. When chicken is done, chop into bitesized pieces (or leave whole, whatever you please.. I think the small pieces roll up better in a wrap) Warm your tortillas (one at a time, for about 10 to 15 seconds) In the tortilla, roll up about a handful of lettuce, some tomato, cheese, chicken and ranch dressing if desired.
  • 5. Cut in half and serve!
