Buffalo Chicken Dip image

This is also very good cold. You can use canned chicken if fresh isn't available.

12 oz chicken, boneless, skinless, cooked, chopped and shredded
8 oz cream cheese, low-fat
1/2 c blue cheese dressing
1/2 c ranch dressing
1 c cheddar cheese, low fat
4 oz franks red hot (original pepper sauce *not* the buffalo wing sauce)

Steps:

  • 1. Mix all ingredients in a heavy sauce pan on the stove top over medium heat. Heat until cheddar cheese has completely melted and well blended. Transfer to a crock pot to keep warm. Serve with dry toasted pita or bagel chips, low fat crackers or vegetables. This can also be prepared as above and microwaved 5-10 minutes instead of on the stove top.
