Brown Sugar Tart image

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 batch pie crust (Milk Street)
8 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon flour
1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
4 batches egg yolks
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/4 cups heavy cream

Steps:

  • Fit crust into a tart pan. Fill with pie weights and bake at 375 on lowest oven rack for 25-30 minutes, or until just turning golden.
  • Evenly sprinkle 6 T. lump free brown sugar onto bottom of warm crust.
  • Mix remaining ingredients, pour into shell and bake on middle rack at 325 for 25 minutes.
