BROWN EDGE VANILLA WAFERS
I remember these cookies as a childhood favorite.

Steps:
- 1. Cream butter. Gradually add sugar, egg, flour, salt & vanilla.
- 2. Drop by tsp. 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
- 3. Bake 8 - 10 minutes at 375 until brown around edge.
- 4. Cool on wire rack.
