BROILED FILET OF FISH, SCALLOPS, OR SHRIMP image

Number Of Ingredients 10

Seasoning
1/3 Grated Parmesean Cheese
1/3 Plain Bread Crumbs
1/3 Red Paprika
Lemon Butter Sauce
75% Butter flavored shortening "no cholesteral"
Real Butter "optional"
20% Lemon Juice
Chopped Garlic
Chopped Parseley

Steps:

  • Mix the three seasoning ingredients together. Mix the Butter flavored shortening with melted real butter together; add lemon juice, chopped garlic and parsley. If you don't have butter flavored shortening you can just melt the butter or even butter blend together with the other ingredients. Grease the bottom of a pan with the lemon butter sauce, lay the peices of fish "any kind" on the pan and evenly coat the fish with the seasoning. Pour the lemon butter sauce over the fish covering as much of the fish as possible. Broil the filet of fish under a flame broiler or electric broiler, cook accordingly depending on the thickness of the fish. When the seasoning is nice and crispy brown orange colored the fish is usually ready.
