Brennan's Garlic Bread image

The secret to this wonderful tasting bread, is rubbing the outside of a loaf of bread with a piece of garlic that has been cut open lengthwise. From the famous New Orleans restaurant, Brennan's.

1 loaf french bread
3 garlic cloves
1/2 c butter, melted
1/3 c parmesan cheese, grated
1 Tbsp parsley
1/2 tsp oregano
paprika

Steps:

  • 1. Split loaf, and spread the melted butter over the cut sides.
  • 2. Sprinkle on the remaining ingredients.
  • 3. Finely chop the garlic cloves, and sprinkle those on top of the bread.
  • 4. Bake at 350F for about 8 to 10 minutes, or until nice and golden brown.
