Start the day off with a cherry-topped Breakfast Banana Split. We swapped low-fat cottage cheese for the ice cream to make this Breakfast Banana Split.

1 small banana, cut lengthwise in half
1/4 cup wheat and barley cereal nuggets
1/2 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN 2% Milkfat Low Fat Cottage Cheese
1/2 tsp. honey
1/3 cup drained canned pineapple chunks in juice
3 maraschino cherries

Steps:

  • Place banana halves, cut sides up, in sundae dish or cereal bowl.
  • Reserve some of the cereal for garnish; sprinkle remaining cereal over bananas.
  • Top with cottage cheese, honey, reserved cereal, pineapple and cherries.
