Braised Cabbage (Ayesha Curry) image

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 tablespoons Olive Oil
1/2 cup Chopped Onion
1.5 cloves Garlic
1 1/2 heads Cabbage
8 ounces Stock (Veg or Chicken)
1 teaspoon Dried Thyme
1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
.1 teaspoon Salt & Pepper To taste
8 ounces Baby Carrots (Quartered Lengthwise)

Steps:

  • In an 8-qt. Dutch oven heat olive oil over medium-high. Add onion and garlic; cook 1 minute or until fragrant and soft.
  • Add cabbages, carrots, stock, thyme, paprika, and cumin.
