Steps:
- Stir together sugar, 1 cup water, cinnamon, lemon zert, and lemon juice in a medium-size heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat; reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer, stirring often, 5 minutes or until sugar dissolves and mixture thickens slightly. Add blueberries; simmer 10 to 15 minutes or until blueberries have popped. Remove from heat; stir in maple syrup and salt.
