Jalapeno Pepper Vodka:
1 quart vodka
2 fresh jalapeno peppers, halved
Bloody:
1 quart tomato juice
3/4 Cup prepared horseradish
1/4 Cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 Cup fresh lime juice
3 Tbls Tabasco
1 Tbls ground celery seed
1 Tbls ground black pepper
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
stalks of celery, trimmed
lime slices

Steps:

  • 1. For Jalapeno Vodka: Place the two jalapeno peppers in a bottle of vodka for 2 - 4 days, depending on how hot you like your vodka. Remove the peppers and the vodka is ready to drink. If you leave the peppers in the vodka indefinately, the vodka will get hotter and hotter. 2. Combine tomato juice, horseradish, Worcestershire, lime juice, Tabasco and spices. Mix well and adjust seasoning. Pour mis into glasses filled with ice cubes, leaving enough room for vodka. Generally, 1 - 1.5 oz of vodka per 6 ounces of mix, but a drop to 3 ounces okay. Garnish with sprinking of pepper and one stalk of celery or lime slice. Serve immediately. Mix can be kept at least overnight.
