BLACK WALNUT POUND CAKE image

Don't you just LOVE the smell and taste of BLACK WALNUTS? My sister has a tree in her yard and we just got through cracking and shelling some. The smell is awesome. This is an old time cake and it smells great cooking. My mother and Daddy had a Black Walnut Tree too. My mother picked out the walnuts and cooked Black Walnut Cakes....
