Big Batch Apple Crisp image

There's nothing like a crisp made with fresh apples. The almonds, cinnamon and brown sugar give this dessert the distinct taste of autumn.

Yield 16 servings, about 1/2 cup each

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
8 large apples, peeled, chopped
32 vanilla wafers, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup chopped almonds
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Mix cream cheese, sugar and cinnamon in large bowl until blended. Stir in apples. Spoon into 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Mix wafer crumbs, nuts and butter; sprinkle over cream cheese mixture. Place pan on baking sheet.
  • Bake 25 min. or until hot and bubbly. Cool slightly. Top with COOL WHIP just before serving.
