BETTY'S TURNIP CASSEROLE image

Number Of Ingredients 4

8-10 turnips, peeled & sliced
1 8oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 c sugar (optional)
1 stick butter

Steps:

  • Cook turnip in simmering water until tender. Drain and mash. Beat in remaining ingredients. Salt, pepper, and mix well. Pour in greased casserole and top with bread crumbs. Bake until lightly brown, approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
