Yield 2 Servings

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 Potato (Medium-Large)
Salt
Pepper
Seasoned Salt (or substitute your favorite seasoning here)
olive oil

Steps:

  • Scrub the potatoe and with the skin off or on according to personal preference... slice the potatoe length wise (into about 1/4 inch thick slices) Then take the wide slices and cut into strips (fry-like) they will be longer than normal fries, if you like you can cut them in half. Try to keep them 1/4" or less in thickness all around, so that they cook evenly. Place in medium to large bowl and drizzle with olive oil, toss lightly. (try to use under 1/2 a tablespoon of oil, if you over do it on the oil the health aspect is gone) lightly toss with salt pepper and seasoned salt (or your preferred seasoninig) then place on baking sheet and cook at 450-475 degrees for about 10-15 min, or until potatoes begin to soften, then 2-3 min before you take them out, turn on the broiler and crisp them just a little!! This goes great with burgers, or pan fried fish, or really just about anything you would normally eat fries with! AND you controll the salt and seasonings! One potato makes roughly 2 servings.
