BEST LEMONADE EVER #1
Some lemonades especially lower-calorie choices, fall pretty far from the tree. Consumer tasters tried 16 including eight already to drink, four powdered, and four from recipes. Steps:
- 1. In a small saucepan combine white sugar, and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil to dissolve sugar.
- 2. Allow to cool to room temperature. Then cover and refrigerate until chilled. Remove seeds from from lemon juice, but leave pulp in pitcher.
- 3. In pitcher, stir together chilled syrup, and lemon juice with 7 cups of cold water. Keep cold. Add ice when serving. I have made fresh lemonade ice cubes....to use in the lemonade. Keeps it from diluting the flavor...Nancy /4/12
