Best Chocolate Chip Cookies image

Vanilla pudding in my chocolate chip cookies?! Heavens, they're good. The vanilla pudding adds a nice flavor to the chocolate chip cookie that you can't exactly put your finger on. This is a very easy chocolate chip cookie that reminds us of the soft batch cookies you can buy at the grocery store. Yum!

Time 20m

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 c butter (real butter is best)
1 c brown sugar
1/4 c white sugar
2 eggs
1 pkg vanilla pudding mix (small box of instant mix), 3.4 ounce
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 1/4 c all-purpose flour
1 pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips, 12 oz

Steps:

  • 1. Mix butter and sugars together until creamy.
  • 2. Add eggs one at a time and mix well.
  • 3. Add pudding mix (dry mix) and vanilla.
  • 4. Mix together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • 5. Add to wet ingredients. Mix until all combined.
  • 6. Then add chocolate chips.
  • 7. Scoop cookie dough onto a greased baking sheet.
  • 8. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 min. I like my soft, so I bake mine closer to 10 min.
  • 9. Makes approximately 3 dozen small (2-inch) cookies. As a side note, you can use any flavor of pudding mix to change up these cookies.
