Beni Hana Ginger Dressing (for salad or dipping) image

I will not take credit for this recipe. I found it awhile back on the internet. I am not sure who to give credit to,....but given due credit,...this is a fabulous all purpose Asian Dressing. I just put it together this morning...and ...I will serve it over a bed of red leaf lettuce, slivered red onion, a pineapple ring, sliced hearts of palm, and chopped peanuts. I believe it would serve well as a dipping sauce too.

Number Of Ingredients 13

1/2 cup(s) peanut oil
1/3 cup(s) rice vinegar
1 teaspoon(s) soy sauce
2 teaspoon(s) lemon juice
2 tablespoon(s) ketchup
1/8 large onion, chopped
1/2 stalk(s) celery, minced
2-3" - section ginger root, finely grated
1 large clove garlic, crushed
2 teaspoon(s) sugar
1/2 teaspoon(s) kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon(s) black pepper
2 tablespoon(s) water

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and emulsify.
  • Keep covered in the refrigerator.
  • Makes 1 2/3 cups
